Our primary objective was to showcase our ability to develop an efficient and user-friendly application for the insurance industry at a record pace.
Meet the Client
Compensa is a rapidly expanding insurance company offering a wide range of insurance solutions including MTPL, CASCO, property, travel, accident, and civil liability insurance. Building on Austrian traditions, Compensa sets new standards in the Latvian market in terms of customer service and indemnity payments. The Compensa app is platform-independent and doesn’t require installation on the user’s device.
Historical Background
& Current Situation
Identifying the need for an accessible and cost-effective alternative to expensive, indoor-only 3D motion labs, Runeasi aimed to leverage wearable technology and AI to provide personalized biomechanical insights to runners.
Challenge
The main challenge for Leaware was to develop and implement the application at an unprecedented pace. To meet the client’s unique requirements, Leaware used PWA (Progressive Web App) technology to build a solution that doesn’t need to be installed on mobile devices.
Solution
The Compensa app development included the following features:
· Direct communication between the customer and the insurance broker.
· One-click redirection to the appropriate person.
· Access to broker offers visible directly in the app.
· Integration with offer portals.

Benefits of the App
The Compensa app is currently used across the entire Compensa group. Its simple interface makes it popular even among less tech-savvy users. Thanks to the PWA technology, the application is available on all platforms without installation. This showcases the quality of products that Leaware is capable of developing.
Results
The results of Leaware’s extensive research and management of the application’s development design and quality have yielded numerous positive outcomes:
· The company saw a substantial increase in inquiries for every type of insurance.
· Customers provided positive feedback regarding the ability to easily generate and download reports as PDFs.
· In the first few months after launch, Compensa saw hundreds of new users leaving positive reviews, and a decrease in support inquiries, smoothing and improving the overall management process.
