Business context

Webwave is a dynamic company from the United Kingdom that uses technology to connect businesses with customers worldwide. It needed a mobile solution that would bring together offers from multiple partners in one place and allow users to easily discover and purchase them.

In 2015, with the boom in online shopping and the growing popularity of deals platforms, it became crucial to deliver a convenient end-to-end experience: from browsing to secure in-app payment. The Good Life Deals project was designed to address this need by combining a scalable offers catalogue with a seamless transaction process.


Challenge

The biggest challenge was to design an intuitive, secure and feature-rich application that could handle a large number of listings and provide a reliable payment mechanism. The interface had to remain fast and clear regardless of data volume and the variety of offers.

It was also essential to integrate multiple content sources consistently in order to maintain a unified data model and a high standard of presentation. Added to this were requirements for transaction security and stability, as well as the need to reach a broad audience without maintaining separate applications for different platforms.


Solution

Leaware built the Good Life Deals App using Xamarin technology, leveraging a single codebase to deliver the application on iOS and Android. This made it possible to shorten deployment time, ensure a consistent look and behaviour across devices, and simplify further development.

The application aggregates offers from multiple companies and then organises them by category and location, providing fast search and filtering. The architecture was designed with performance and scalability in mind, enabling it to handle large catalogues and user traffic smoothly.

A key element was the implementation of a secure in-app payment system. As a result, users can complete transactions without leaving Good Life Deals, while maintaining high data protection standards and a simple, multi-step purchasing journey. Businesses, in turn, gain greater exposure and easier access to new customers through one unified channel.
