Objective
The objective of this case study is to showcase the expertise of Leaware in creating a highly efficient and user-friendly digital book reader application, Legimi, catering to millions of users worldwide.
Meet the Client
Legimi is a Poland-based company providing a subscription-based ebook service. They offer more than 200,000 books from world-renowned authors and bestselling native artists. Their goal is to make reading more accessible, enjoyable, and convenient through digital means.
Historical Background
& Current Situation
In an increasingly digital world, traditional books were losing their appeal due to convenience and portability issues. Legimi, a Poland-based company offering a subscription-based ebook service, wanted to expand its reach by creating a user-friendly app that allowed seamless reading of their extensive library. Leaware was chosen to develop this application.
Challenge
Legimi aimed to create an app similar to Kindle that would provide an integrated book reading experience to its subscribers. The app needed to be intuitive, responsive, and compatible with different platforms (iOS, Android, and Windows Phone). It had to integrate seamlessly with Legimi’s book cloud and provide a smooth user experience.
Solution
Leveraging the Xamarin technology, Leaware developed a multi-platform app, allowing users to access and read their choice of books seamlessly. The app was designed with a clean, intuitive interface, and integrated with Legimi’s book cloud, providing users with a smooth reading experience akin to Kindle.
