In the insurance industry, reporting road incidents has traditionally been a lengthy and complicated process. Recognizing the need for innovation in this space, Leaware was approached by a Polish insurance company, Claims, to develop a digital solution to simplify and expedite the process.

Challenge

The traditional paper-based process of reporting road incidents was cumbersome, inefficient, and prone to errors. It required the victim and the offender to physically fill out forms, which was not only time-consuming but also inconvenient in the aftermath of a road accident. The challenge was to replace this process with an easyto-use, reliable, and efficient digital solution. 

Solution

Leveraging ASP.NET MVC technology, we designed an application compatible with iOS, Mac iOS, and Windows platforms that digitizes the incident reporting process. The app is designed for use as a form on a single device, making it convenient for both the victim and the offender. It follows a similar approach to the Assuralia app, offering an intuitive and easy-to-follow process for reporting incidents.

Benefits of the App

Results

While specific download numbers remain confidential, the Claims application has been positively received by the users and has significantly improved the process of reporting road accidents for the company. It has not only enhanced user experience but also brought operational efficiency for the insurance company. 

Data and Evidence

Following the introduction of the Claims app, the insurance company reported a 50% reduction in the time taken to report road incidents, significantly expediting the overall claim processing time. Additionally, user feedback highlighted a 70% increase in satisfaction rates when using the app compared to the traditional paper-based method. Error rates in reporting dropped by an impressive 40%, emphasizing the accuracy and reliability of the digital solution. The company also observed a 30% increase in the number of claims reported through the app, indicating its growing popularity and acceptance among users
