Objective
This case study aims to showcase Leaware’s expertise in developing a comprehensive inventory application that aids insurance companies and their clients in the documentation and management of home inventory.
Meet the Client
KeyLimeTie is a full-service design, development, and digital strategy agency based in the USA. The company helps clients communicate effectively and intimately with their customers through interactive marketing channels. They specialize in web and mobile application development across various platforms, providing content management, e-commerce, custom application solutions, and social media campaign and reputation management.
Historical Background
& Current Situation
The KeyLimeTie Inventory app was created to provide a digital tool that would support insurance companies and their clients in effectively documenting and managing home inventory. The challenge was to create an application that was easy to use, secure, and robust enough to handle an extensive list of home inventory items.
Challenge
The main challenge was to create an app that could allow users to list their home inventory, categorize it into rooms, add images, descriptions, and assign values to each item. The solution needed to allow for robust item documentation to facilitate insurance claims processing.
Solution
Leveraging Xamarin and MvvmCross technologies, Leaware developed a comprehensive inventory app for KeyLimeTie. The app allows users to create a detailed list of their home inventory, categorize them by room, add photos, descriptions, and assign values to each item. This documentation helps estimate users‘ wealth and aids in processing insurance claims.
