Objective
The objective of this case study is to demonstrate the expertise of Leaware in designing and developing a streaming application for FreshBox, showcasing our ability to cater to the unique needs of clients in the telecommunications and media streaming sector.
Meet the Client
FreshBox is a progressive telecommunications service provider in Poland. It offers services such as television, internet, and telephone to a broad range of customers – from individuals to large corporations. The services are mainly provided over a fiber-optic network using fiber–to-home (FTTH) technology, or wireless technology when FTTH isn’t possible.

The dynamic market of digital entertainment calls for solutions that are customizable, user-friendly, and reliable. FreshBox, a telecommunications service provider, recognized these market needs and decided to develop a streaming app for its fiber-optic network customers. Leaware was entrusted with this task, given our reputation for developing high-quality, custom software solutions.
Challenge
The challenge was to develop a streaming app for FreshBox that provided a high-quality, seamless media experience to its users, while also being adaptable to individual user needs. The app needed to work flawlessly over both fiber-optic and wireless networks.
Solution
Using the latest streaming media server technology, Leaware developed an Android app that provided a seamless media streaming experience for FreshBox customers. The app was designed with a user-friendly interface and was capable of delivering high-quality streaming services over both fiber-optic and wireless networks.

Results
While specific download numbers are unknown, feedback from users has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the seamless streaming experience and the app’s user-friendly nature. FreshBox reported an increase in customer satisfaction and an uptick in new subscriptions after the launch of the app.

Lessons Learnt
Through this project, we learned the importance of designing for network adaptability when creating a streaming app. The ability to deliver high-quality media streaming over both fiber-optic and wireless networks was crucial to the app’s success. This experience has further solidified our expertise in developing customizable, user-friendly apps that cater to a wide range of user needs, and has prepared us for similar challenges in the future.
